Seagate Hard Drive Warranty Changes

Effective December 31, 2011, Seagate's limited warranty policy will change to 3 years for nearline drives, 2 years for consumer electronics drives, and 1 year for mainstream desktop and notebook bare drives. Warranty on our desktop Barracuda XT and notebook Momentus XT drives remain at 3 years.
