With a Volume License Agreement (VLA), you license the right to use Mac OS X software on a specified number of computers at your business - you determine how many. Discounts are based on the number of licenses you are purchasing, and volume pricing starts at only 10 units for Mac OS X. Licenses are available in tiers of 10-99 seats, 100-999 seats, and 1000+ seats.

Please note:

Mac OS X v10.6 Server Snow Leopard requires an Intel-based Mac.
Each Mac OS X Server license allows for an unlimited number of clients.

Overview

Whether your business or school is large or small, the Apple Volume Licensing Agreement (VLA) provides an easy and cost-effective way to purchase Apple's Mac OS X software.

With VLA, you license the right to use Apple software on a specified number of computers at your business - you determine how many. Discounts are based on the number of licenses you are purchasing of each product, and volume pricing starts at only 10 units. (The other discount tiers are 100+ and 1000+ units). Media Sets, Document Sets, and Technical Support are not counted in determining tier level.

Upon completion of your Mac OS X Server v10.6 Snow Leopard Volume License order, you will receive an electronic or physical copy of the serial number for use with the licenses covered under your Volume License Agreement. .

Media Set and Document Sets can be ordered separately and are not included in the license fee. Customers can order as many Media and Doc Sets as licenses purchased (additional charges apply). The user manual is in PDF form on the Media Set so purchasing a printed manual is optional if you only order a Media Set.
