Fuji Xerox Self-Scanning LED printing
Fuji Xerox’s award-winning S-LED (Self-Scanning Light Emitting Diode) utilises a print head that creates an image on the print drum using LEDs as the light source. The light from the LEDs are directed through a lens array which forms the image document on the drum.
(i) 1,200 dpi Self-Scanning LED chips with ASIC Driver
High quality printing with 14,592 LEDs while the ASIC Driver allows precise control of these LED chips.
(ii) Newly designed lens
The optically precise lenses produce highly accurate images on the drum.
(iii) Image Registration Control Technology (IRecT)
IRecT is a digital Image Registration Control Technology that makes it possible to correct images in ultra high-precision of up to 2,400 dpi. IRecT corrects image misalignment digitally, not mechanically, enabling ultra high-precision print images without any colour or image mis-registration.
(iv) Image enhancement processing
Images are scanned in two directions (rather than one) on a finer matrix than with conventional technology. This produces smoother lines, especially those at slight angles, for razor-sharp text and graphics.
(v) MACS (Micro Accurate Control Screen) digital screening
MACS uses Fuji Xerox HQ digital screen technology which controls pixel production based on image density. This results in smooth gradation and excellent highlight reproduction.

S-LED and DELCIS
Fuji Xerox’s S-LED and ‘DELCIS’ (Digitally Enhanced Light Control Imaging System) technology not only provide an outstanding output of 1,200 x 2,400 dpi, they also make it
possible to build devices that are more reliable, compact and consume less power.
The newly developed Induction Heating Fuser incorporates a thin, non-magnetic metal which serves as a heating layer inside the fuser belt, enabling greater energy efficiency. With this new
technology, the fusing unit does not require pre-heating and doesn’t consume power when the machine is in standby mode.
Fuji Xerox’s EA Eco-toner contains sharp-melting polyester which achieves photo-quality gloss output on a wide variety of paper types. Fusing temperature is more than 20°C lower than that of conventional toners, contributing to reduced power consumption.
