The 2.5" Snap-In SP is a perfect solution for storage application in mobile computing, transportation or for equipment that operates in environment with frequent shock and vibration. Built on the same reliable and convenient removable mechanism of the Snap-In Double Drive, the 2.5" Snap-In SP is the shock proof version that adds protection to your hard drive against damage from shock and vibration. Designed to fit inside a standard 3.5" drive bay, the 2.5" Snap-In SP also comes with a lock mechanism to lock down the drive door. By connecting to a hot swappable SATA controller, the hard drive can be easily added or removed from the system just like an ordinary cassette tape.

  • Installs into standard 3.5" drive bay or 5 1/4" drive bay with optional adapter bracket (model: AAMK35)

  • Key lock on drive door to lock the drive in place
  • Easy insertion and removal of hard drive without any tool or mounting screws.
