PATENTED FULLROOM ACOUSTIC PRINCIPLES
Libratone Live works like an acoustic instrument filling the entire room with sound. The tweeters and midrange drivers disperse sound in different directions, reflecting it off the walls, providing 360 sound. We call it FullRoom sound and yes, it's patented.
HI-FI AUDIO QUALITY
High-end components such as ribbon-based tweeters along with digital signal processing and digital amplification gives you premium sound. Apple Lossless technology ensures a perfect transfer.
AIRPLAY-CUTTING THE STRINGS

By the way, if you download our Libratone app you can customize the audio output to match the placement of your Libratone Live. By feeding the app information on the distance to the nearest walls and the ground, your sound system adjusts its output accordingly. Tailor-made audio from us to you. And don't worry: It's easy as pie.
Connection
Connect and play
You can enjoy a wireless life regardless if you prefer streaming from your computer or your portable devices. Libratone Live AirPlays from most iOS devices, as well as from iTunes on both Mac and PC. And though we're all about wirelessness, you can also go wired either analog or digital, connecting for instance with your TV via minijack.
You can even set up a multi-room system using multiple Libratone speakers to fill your entire house with high-end sound. All you need to do is get yourself a couple of extra Libratone units, activate them using iTunes on Mac or PC and press play.
iPad, iPhone and iPod touch
Libratone employs Apple's AirPlay technology. This means that you can stream quality audio wirelessly to your Libratone Live. As long as your audio device is AirPlay compatible, you're good to go. Simply choose Libratone as your AirPlay-speaker and press play.
Libratone Live AirPlays from all iPads, iPhone 3GS or newer, iPod touch and iTunes.
MULTI ROOM - COMPUTER WITH ITUNES
You can set up a multi-room system by 1) investing in more than one Libratone product, 2) placing them wherever you feel like and 3) activating them via iTunes on your computer. From here, you can adjust the volume and turn speakers on and off. The units play simultaneously.
Up to six speakers can play at the same time, depending on your WiFi signal strength, range and bandwith.
LIVE TELEVISION
You can make your TV a source of high-end audio by hooking it up to Libratone Live using 3.5-mm minijack or an optical cable. If you connect with the optical cable, you use the free Libratone app to control volume.
Before connecting, just remember: In our world wireless always trumps wires, so if you use both AirPlay and a cable connection, Libratone Live will automatically choose the AirPlay input.
WIRELESS AUDIO AND VIDEO - WITH AN APPLE TV
You can use Libratone Live as an essential part of a larger audio/video eco-system. With Apple TV you can stream both HD video and high quality sound to your TV and use Libratone Live to set the audio free. Home entertainment doesn't get any smoother than this.
WIRED - ANALOG OR OPTICAL
Don't worry, though we prefer wireless, we don't discriminate. So if you have an iPod Classic, a cell phone or another device without AirPlay compatibility, you can still hook up the ol' fashioned way. Just connect with minijack or optical cable to let the sound run free.
