The unit is also rechargeable for complete portable freedom and creates its own wireless link to your mobile device to instantly expand your storage.
It contains no storage as standard, but works by providing a USB port to connect additional storage like USB flash drives or external HDDs. You can now add a wireless external drive with all of your movies, music, photos and more and do it all without the pain of iTunes!
The Heli-Dock requires no Internet connection (once App is installed), and is as simple as launching the 8Ware Heli app*, plugging inyour storage and connecting wirelessly to the Heli-Dock.
Leave it in your bag on the train; take it in the car on a roadtrip; entertain the whole family! Up to 5 users can simultaneously stream from the Heli-Dock in full HD so the kids can watch what they want, while the adults do the same.
The 8Ware-Heli app is available for iOS and Android devices via the Apple App Store and Google Play.

Internet connection required for the initial download of 8Ware app only, thereafter the app runs offline.
