The Z8PE-D12X is able to provide excellent virtualization applications with ISV certification. The onboard vertical USB connector is designed for VMWare ESXi, to make full use of the system resource and reduce the TCO and IT expense.
Native DDR3 Support for Higher Bandwidth Requirements
The Z8PE-D12X supports UDIMM and RDIMM DDR3 memory that features data transfer rates of 1333/1066MHz to meet higher bandwidth requirements for server and workstation applications. This voltage reduction from 1.8V for DDR2 to just 1.5V for DDR3 limits the power consumption and heat generation of DDR3, making it an ideal memory solution.
