QNAP HD Station integrates the powerful XBMC v12 media player and web browser. With HDMI connectivity, you can connect the TS-470 Pro to a HDTV to enjoy all your rich multimedia content on the big screen. The splendid user interface and the support for 5.1 channel surround sound audio passthrough*, coupled with the powerful media transcoding capability of the TS-470 Pro, brings smooth playback of Full HD videos providing a quality home theater experience**. You can also turn your mobile devices into remote controls by installing the Qremote app or use MCE remote controls via the built-in IR receiver of the TS-470 Pro.
Supports DLNA and AirPlay for media streaming
You can use DLNA compatible devices, such as HDTVs, Sony PS3, and Microsoft Xbox 360 to stream photos, videos and music stored on the TS-470 Pro. The Qfile mobile app on an iOS device allows you to browse videos and photos stored on the TS-470 Pro and play on a TV via AirPlay-enabled devices such as Apple TV. You can also install QAirplay app, available in the App Center, on the TS-470 Pro to steam your media contents directly on Apple TV, bypassing your mobile device thus saving the energy of your mobile device. Furthermore, the TS-470 Pro can be used as a PLEX media server to stream your content to any Smart TV or PLEX clients, such as smartphones and tablets.

The TS-470 Pro supports TV Station. Just insert the DVB-T USB TV tuner to the TS-470 Pro, and then you can log on the TV Station web interface to watch or record digital TV shows immediately anywhere in the house. What’s better, the TS-470 Pro allows 2 USB TV tuners so that you can enjoy a TV program while recording another program at the same time.

The TS-470 Pro acts as your photo vault for you to back up your favorite photos. The Photo Station makes photo sharing simple, and you can designate your own access right controls. Simply upload your photos to the TS-470 Pro to create and organize your photo albums through a web browser, and share with your family and friends through social networking sites such as Facebook, Google+, Twitter and Pinterest. The TS-470 Pro is a perfect download center for high speed BT, Magnet, PT (Private Trackers), eMule, FTP, and HTTP downloads. With the QGet utility you can manage your download tasks on multiple NAS devices remotely on the local network or the Internet.

QNAP Netbak Replicator supports real-time and scheduled data backup on Windows including Outlook email archiving. The USB port on the front panel of the TS-470 Pro features a one-touch-copy function for you to instantly back up data on external drives to the TS-470 Pro with just one click, or back up data on the TS-470 Pro to the external drives alternatively. After activate SNMP, you can collect system information, alerts and error messages on the Turbo NAS. All the information can be transfer to up to 3 SNMP servers to achieve real-time and central management.

Scheduled Power on/off
