Shockproof to 2.1m, waterproof to 15m, crushproof to 100kg, freezeproof to -10, and dustproof too, the TG-4 will continue to shine even in the most extreme conditions. This allows for worry-free shooting giving you confidence to push yourself and your camera to new limits.
Tough with RAW, the ultimate combination.
To maximise the latitude of the TG-4's imaging sensor, the camera provides an alternative to JPEGs with Olympus' .ORF RAW format that allows for flexibility in post processing. The .ORF file can initially be opened in Olympus Viewer 3 with future compatibility to come from other third party image editing manufacturers.
Custom modes for ultimate flexibility.
Find yourself relying on a particular series of settings that you wish you could always come back to in an instant and use whenever you want? The TG-4 sports two custom modes that allow you to preset your settings so that you can bring them up quickly and easily.
Dedicated Underwater Modes for Easiest Capture
Often getting your colours correct underwater can be challenging when photographing colourful subject material which is why the TG-4 includes a dedicated underwater mode that has a number of different settins that maximise your chance to take that next underwater masterpiece.
GPS - Pinpoint location accuracy when shooting.
The TG-4 sports the latest version of its location module. Utilising the GLONASS method of position, the TG-4 can accurately pinpoint where you were when you look at photo when inabled in the camera. The camera records positioning data that is embedded into the camera's back end data.
Maximum Macro Flexibility
Drawing upon Olympus' proud scientific imaging background, the TG-4 has some of the most functional close up and macro modes on the market. This will ensure that you get that next close up you need without fuss.
Control, Capture & Transfer over WiFi
The TG-4 utilises Olympus' O.I Share app for iOS and Android devices. This allows for remote control of the camera over WiFi and even allows you to transfer your photos so that you can quickly upload to your favourite social media platforms.
