Simple content delivery with a video wall solution without the need for a PC

 

 

Included with the new Samsung UD46D-P commercial displays, the 2nd generation Samsung Smart Signage Platform (SSSP) helps make the concept of digital signage simple. The new displays include on-board memory, but also include a USB port and an SD card slot to enable access to larger files stored on your compatible external memory devices. Or, simply set the unit to plug and play to play content files directly from your compatible USB storage device or your SD card (not included).

With the built in SoC technology, deliver content from a single UDD-P display to multiple UDD-P displays in a video wall configuration utilising DP1.2 loop out¹. Content to be displayed needs only to be, either on board the first UDD-P display, or connected via either a compatible USB device or SD Card (both not included).²

DP1.2 UHD Loop Out for 2 x 2 Video Wall Configurations. The Samsung UD46D-P displays utilises DP1.2 technology to help enable delivery of UHD content across 4 separate UDD displays (each display sold separately) when set up in a 2 x 2 landscape video wall configuration. Simply loop out of the first display with a DP1.2 cable¹ and daisy chain the displays and they are ready to accept UHD resolution(3820 x 2160) content.<sup>2

Amaze viewers with colour accuracy across multiple displays

 

 

Maintaining consistent colour across multiple displays can be easy with Samsung UDD Series displays. The displays undergo a meticulous factory colour calibration process, helping to ensure consistent colour, lessening the need for manual calibration. The factory colour tuning for white balancing and colour difference compensation helps UDD series display images in uniform colour with colour temperature matching. Users can fine-tune the colour with Samsung Color Expert, which offers more detailed management for custom needs. Colour vibrancy can be calibrated automatically or manually. Plus, colour values can be shared between multiple displays, helping to provide colour uniformity across video wall screens, dazzling the audience. Color Expert Software is available from Samsung at no charge¹. Calibration tool not supplied. Samsung recommends the X-Rite i1 Display Pro calibration tool only. Sold separately through X-Rite.

Display content with easy image rotation

 

 

Easy Image Rotation use the display settings to rotate your content The Samsung UDD
Series comes with an image rotation feature which enables simple rotation of screen
content using display menu functions. The feature is designed to allow content to be
reoriented with low impact on its aspect ratio. It can also be delivered to multiple
compatible screens via DP1.2 loop out (daisy chain)¹, e.g. to expand landscape content
across 3 UDD series displays (of same size) in portrait orientation side by side.

Display Daisy Chain and HDCP Support using DP1.2 loop out¹. The new UD46D-P Series
offers DP1.2 loop out to daisy chain multiple displays for video wall applications². The
UD46D-P series also offers HDCP support through DP1.2 loop out, for up to 7 UD46D-P
series displays. This helps to overcome HDCP compliance issues for multi screen
deployments or video wall applications where you need to deliver protected content from
one device to multiple displays.
