The MFC-5840CN 6-in-1 Colour Flatbed Multi-Function Centre is a standalone fax machine which features a colour flatbed digital copier, network colour printer, colour fax, network colour flatbed digital scanner, PC faxing capabilities and a PhotoCapture centre.
It delivers fast inkjet printing at up to 20 pages per minute* (mono) and up to 15 pages per minute* (colour). Users can also select high-resolution 1200 x 6,000 dpi printing for exceptional colour output.
Other features include: simple one-touch key for scanning directly to e-mail, OCR, card and imaging applications, high-resolution colour scanning at up to 19200 dpi, 16MB dual access memory which stores up to 400 pages** so that faxes can be scanned in while sending or receiving, a 100-sheet*** capacity paper tray and 35 page*** Automatic Document Feeder (ADF). The PhotoCapture centre allows you to scan⁄print to⁄from Smart Media, Compact Flash, Secure Digital and Memory Sticks. Compatible with Microsoft® Windows® and Apple® Macintosh® operating systems. The MFC-5840CN is USB compatible and network ready.
