The UHD-3542 is a USB 2.0 to IDE interface board and hard drive enclosure package. Just drop in your 3.5 IDE hard drive and you have a hot-swappable platform-independent high-speed portable drive! These drives can also be daisy-chained up to 127 devices. The UHD-3542 is capable of data throughput rates faster than standard IDE controllers. Ideal as an external storage or backup device the UHD-3542 is a speedy low-cost addition to any system.
