The Cipher Lab 8000⁄1 is a Pocket Size Data Collection Unit which has a long range CCD or laser. Light weight, low power consumption, 1Mb flash memeroy & 2MB SRAM. Has IR and IdDA connectivity and comes with Windows based Application Generator Software. Sled & Serial cables are included. Uses AAA batteries for CPT-8000 and Rechargable Battery - Li-ion for CPT-8001. The CPT8000⁄1 has a backlit graphic display and 21 key backlit keypad.
The terminal is fully programmable in 'BASIC' or 'C', or via the FREE 8000AG Application Generator, and incorporates 1MB program memory and 2MB for data, making it suitable for a wide range of data collection applications. Measuring only 122 x 56 x 26mm and weighing in at just 130gm (including batteries), the CPT8000⁄1 is both compact and lightweight, and provides over 100 hrs of normal use when used with alkaline cells (2 x AAA size).
IR and IrDA communications is supported from the terminal, and RS232, USB (Virtual Comm. port) or modem via the 8000-CR communications cradle
