Reviewd By: Ron Visitors Age: 25 Visitors Rating: I could share the photo with my friend very easy now! I like travel and take photos. I have more than 4 GB photos since 2004. I have no idea how to share these photos with my friend. After using TS-201 it totally solve my problem about this difficult problem. All I have to do is use the free software QNAP provide call NetBak. It will backup the photo in my computer to the TS-201 and directly we could have the online album generated itself. Now I could share all my lovely memories photos with all my friends without any limit and also sercured my photos. Not only the photo feature but I love the itunes server so I could hear music everywhere in my house with only one Music File copy. Brilliant !!!!
Reviewd By: Olaf Visitors Age: 25 Visitors Rating: Works perfectly!! Highly recommendable for Mac users The TS-201 works very well! I use multiple Macs and the occasional PC and so I was skeptical at first as to how well this would integrate into this environment, but it has performed well ever since I installed it. Network drives work on both Macs and PCs and installation is a breeze from the Mac. Although, since the drive file system is not Mac native, filenames will have to be PC compatible (no backslash or question marks in file names). One important note (not mentioned in the quick start guide) is that if your network already has a DHCP server, the NAS will automatically use it and therefore be assigned a random IP address (as opposed to the fixed IP address stated in the manual). This meant I did not see it on the network straight away, cause I was looking at the wrong location. Easily fixed, and not an issue once known.
