Are you feeling headache when you need to scan and fax A3-size document? Avision solves your problem with its latest A3-size MFP, the @V5000. The @V5100 is able to perform scan-to-email, scan-to-filing, and digital copy (by connecting an additional laser printer). The scan-to-email function allows you to scan paper-based document in full color and e-mail them as attachments from the @V5100. The scan-to-filing function allows you to scan the paper-based document in full color and save them to a designated server.
Plus, with the optional 50-page auto document feeder, the @V5100 can effectively increase your productivity with its smooth and hand-free scanning.

 

Multi-Function A3 Network Scanner

The new Avision AV5100 is a true network scanner which can be operated totally independently of a PC (though it can still be connected to a PC if you want to).

It offers the following functionality:

• scan to PostScript printer
• Scan from PC

Avision AV5100 Key Specifications:

• A3 colour scanning.
• Flatbed and built-in automatic document feeder
• 50 page capacity.
• 600 dpi optical resolution.
• CCD sensor (better quality than CIS)
• 27 ppm scanning speed (A4, 200 dpi, line art).
  Even though the scanning speed will be decrease in colour and at higher resolutions, the AV5100 is much faster than previous models in colour and/or higher resolution scanning.
• Automatic paper size detection.
• Billing function: the AV5100 can send an XML-formatted billing report to an email address or post to an HTTP server.
• File formats: TIFF, JPEG, PDF
• Protocols: TCP/IP, SMTP, HTTP, HTTPS, MIME, FTP, CIFS
• For e-mail scanning the AV5100 gives you the choice of using LDAP (external address book) or its own built-in address book (2000 addresses / 100 groups)
• Typical duty cycle: the flatbed is rated for 200,000 scans between service.
  The document feeder is rated for a typical usage of 1,500 scans per day over 3 years (5 working days per week).
  The most commonly replaced consumables are the rollers and separation pads which can be easily replaced by the user. Should you wish to perform a higher volume of scanning, this simply means the detachable feeder may need to replaced sooner, but this is a reasonably priced unit which can be replaced in 2 minutes by the user!
