Western Digital Amendmant
I recently revied a Western Digital 500 gigabyte external hard drive and stated that the only gripe was that the included backup software was a 30 day trial only. I wish to amend this by stating that by further investigation on the Western Digital website I discovered that the product code was marked on the included pamphlet. So even a better product rating now with this sorted.

Fast Hard Drive
I recently purchased this external hard drive and use it with a laptop on the firewire connection. It was a breeze to connect and runs perfectly on Windows Vista. My only gripe is the included Western Digital backup software is a 30 day trial only. Overall a very quiet, fast well behaved drive.
