In addition to the NAT technology, the BiPAC 5200G supports Packet Filtering for high-level security control.

Easy Network Management
The Web-based User Interface makes the BiPAC 5200G extremely easy for users to install and manage the network. The router supports DHCP client and server, enabling system administrators to easily fit this security router into existing network environment and manage the IP assignment without re-configuring other stations. Furthermore, future firmware upgrade can be downloaded via the user-friendly Web-based Interface.

Wireless Mobility (BiPAC 5200G only)
With an integrated 802.11g Wireless Access Point, the router offers quick and easy access and mobility to the users of wired networks, wireless networks, and broadband connections (ADSL). In addition to supporting the 54 Mbps 802.11g data rate, it is also backward compatible with existing 802.11b equipment. The Wireless Protected Access (WPA-PSK/WPA2-PSK) and Wireless Encryption Protocol (WEP) features enhance the level of data protection and access control via a Wireless LAN.
