Waterproof to a Depth of 1.5m* International Standard -IEC60529 IPX8 Degrees of protection provided by enclosures.

A waterproof design, taking advantage of the SD/SDHC Memory Card's water resistance, lets you use the SW20 underwater to a depth of 1.5m for up to 30 mins. The SW20 can even be used in salt water,allowing users to take moving images of friends swimming & snorkelling. The waterproof design greatly expands video shooting possibilities. You can use the SW20 atthe beach,while skiingandduring other active, outdoor activities.

A dustproof design allows the camcorder to be used freely at the beach without worry of damaging the camcorder. If the camcorder gets muddy - simply wash it off in water.

 

0.6 Sec Quick Start

The Quick Start function allows the SDR-SW20 to begin recording ina short 0.6sec. Great for those spontaneous moments that life often presents.

 

One Touch DVD Recordingusing the VW-BN1E(Optional)

Simply connect the SW20 to the VW-BN1E via USB, and a single button push allows copy from camcorder direct to DVD. The disc made can be played on DVD players, so sharing & playback is easy.

Precaution when using Tripod.

WARNING: Do not use the unit under water while the tripod (sold seperately)or it'scamera base is still mounted in the unit's tripod mounting hole.
