ASUS VW198T is the first 19-inch 16:10 widescreen LCD monitor with 1680x1050 high resolution. 36% higher resolution and 15% shorter pixel pitch deliver finer image quality than normal 19-inch widescreen LCD monitors. Wide viewing angles (170(H)/ 160(V)) bring more comfortable vision. 16.7 million display colors deliver rich and colorful images to surprise your eyes. Perfect for editing images, watching movies, or playing games.

3000:1 High Dynamic Contrast Ratio for Sharper Images

VW198T incorporates wide viewing angles, 5ms response time and 300 nits brightness together to deliver clear and smooth image quality. The innovative ASCR (ASUS Smart Contrast Ratio Technology) provides the high contrast ratio of 3000:1, which can dynamically adjust contrast between black and white, to create sharper and more stereoscopic images especially during video and movies.

HDCP Support

 VW198T incorporates DVI input with HDCP (High-Bandwidth Digital Content Protection) supported to ensure high-resolution video signal integrity and image quality.

Intelligent Image Enhancement

Splendid Video Intelligence Technology fine tunes the color, brightness, contrast and sharpness of images in different video applications and offers 5 preset video modes (Scenery, Theater, Games, Night View and Standard) selection via hotkey and 3 skin tone options (Reddish, Yellowish and Natural).
