Compliant with the latest HomePlug AV technology, the P-660HWP Series provides the best solution for IPTV, file sharing, gaming, voice, and video services requiring high bandwidth. The data rate can reach up to 200Mbps* via existing power lines to fully satisfy any application needs. The quality of HDTV and voice transmissions through power lines is also guaranteed by the inherent QoS with four priority levels.
 
Extended LAN Solution through Power Lines
The ZyXEL Powerline is an extended access solution that allows your house or small office to be completely networked with existing power lines. Simply connect the P-660HWP Series to an existing power socket to transform electrical lines into a house-wide network infrastructure without additional cables.
 
Robust Security Protection
The ICSA-compliant ZyNOS operating system ensures state-of-the-art firewall performance and robust security features. Including Stateful Packet Inspection, Denial of Service (DoS) and Distributed DoS (DDoS) features, the P-660HWP Series provides the first line of defense against hackers, network intruders and other harmful threats. The Powerline transmission is also protected by 128-bit AES encryption to secure Internet access and network resource sharing.
 
Advanced Media Bandwidth Management (MBM) QoS
With ZyXEL MBM (Media Bandwidth Management), users can now tell the P-660HWP Series to decide which services get more bandwidth. Fine-tuning bandwidth allocation eliminates lag caused by impaired bandwidth utilization; performance and service quality of bandwidth-sensitive applications like VoIP, gaming, or P2P will enjoy a significant boost in speed.
