You can install 2 x 3.5” SATA2 harddisks up to a total maximum capacity of 1TB
and up to 10000RPM, breaking the Terra barrier affordably and easily! It even
allows for use as 2 harddisks or aggregated as 1, with mounting types such as
Mirroring, Striping or RAID (0, 1). A maximum of 8 harddisks (2 per enclosure)
can be aggregated/mirrored/striped over the network permitting substantial
storage expansion.
The ACR-HD51769 features a black mirror-polished case made from 1.8mm
solid aluminium. It’s ultra lightweight solid construction offers a shock resistance
up to 90cm (tested by Europe’s largest IT magazine ComputerBild).
Along with the inbuilt fan, the aluminium casing also helps to keep harddisks
cool at all times. Designed to be mounted vertically or horizontally (with provided
stand), or stacked to suit any desk space.
** NOTE: to use the features of combining 2 harddisks within the 1 AluBoxDuo
LAN, please ensure NDAS driver software V3.11 or later is installed.
