All Lexmark inkjet cartridges have the actual print head, there where the core inkjet technology lies, integrated to the cartridge bottle.
The main advantage to having the print head as an integrated part to the cartridge is that Lexmark customers get a new print head with
each cartridge replacement! This is each time like getting a brand new printer all over again! No risk of deterioration of the print head
(and therefore a decrease in quality) during the life of the printer as can be the case with other manufacturers who integrate the print
head as a fixed part inside the printer itself.
Professional looking photographs
With Lexmarks photo and colour cartridge installed, you now have a wider range of colours that can deliver sharper details
when expert photo quality images are needed. The photo cartridge (KCM) contains black (K) and special formulations of
Cyan (C) and Magenta (M). The combination of the colour and photo cartridges allows for simultaneous usage of six colours
instead of just four, which dramatically expands the colour range possibilities. Lighter colours that could not be formulated
with the standard colour and black combination, such as clear blue skies or skin tones, come out looking sharp and realistic.
Resolution: up to 1200x1200 dpi!!
1200x1200 dots per inch is the ability that Lexmark print heads have to place individual droplets of ink accurately on a 1200x1200 matrix
per square inch of paper. Extreme precision and high resolution lead to the first class print quality provided by Lexmark printheads.
The brightest and widest colour ink spectrum!
The Lexmark High Resolution Photo Colour Print Cartridge works in combination with the High resolution Colour print Cartridge (12A1980⁄85).
For all the colour inks Lexmark chooses to use dye-based inks because of their unique ability to create richer and brighter colours, a wider
colour ink spectrum and light fastness. Lexmark has increased the percentage of dye in its latest generation of inks by 30%. This increase
in the amount of dye creates brighter, richer colours that dramatically enhance the quality of prints.
Storage unit included!
Lexmark eliminates the risk of your photo colour cartridge to dry out while you print with the normal black and colour cartridge combination. Each
High Resolution Photo Colour Print Cartridge is delivered with a storage unit that will protect the cartridge from drying out and therefore from
damaging the print quality.
