TV Tuner - Avermedia PCMCIA card

I have difficulties to view anything regardless which mode I use, antenna, S-vedio, or composite as long as I turn on my wireless on my HP notebook. Also, the reception is pretty bad because the signal correction feature is poor. The teletext function is also poor that its not fast enough to capture the text, and it must be on a separate screen. I wont recommend this product to anyone, its waste of money.

Great product. Good Reception

I installed the card and was done in about 2 minutes. That included the autotune of the tv channels! All you need which is not included is the 75ohm coaxial cable that goes from your wall to the card. The great thing about this card is that it can pause live tv! also you can record, which saves it as an .mpg file, comes with remote control, fm tuner as well as composite connections. Got the playstation 2 running on my laptop now as a result, works great!

Incompatible to AMD

Found incompatibility problems were causing a distortion of the picture of the TV broadcast stream was the responce I got from AverMedia technical support. But distortion dissappears when playing video in PIP window? Does not seem to be compatible with the Acer Ferrari 3400 laptop.
