The DHP-300 is ideal for connecting home network entertainment components normally located near a power outlet. Any Ethernet-ready devices, such as broadband routers, computers, High Definition TV, digital video recorders, game consoles, print servers or D-Link Media Players can be added to a home network. This adapter is ideally suited for next generation home applications such as media streaming, music sharing and online multi-player gaming. The DHP-300 can be used to stream data into areas of a home where it may be difficult to run an Ethernet cable. For wireless application, users can also expand a Wi-Fi network at home by connecting an access point to this adapter to get stronger wireless signals in remote areas such as a basement.
