The DAP-1522 High-Definition wireless bridge is the latest addition to the Award-Winning Xtreme N product family. DAP-1522 works with next generation dual-band (2.4GHz or 5GHz) 802.11a/g/n wireless devices and effectively doubles your available wireless bandwidth. It protects your data with 64/128- bit WEP WPA/WPA2 encryption and can be easily configured with the web-browser based configuration utility. The versatile DAP-1522 is designed for users looking to get a true wireless connection that can handle multiple High-Definition video streams throughout the house.
High-Definition Performance
The DAP-1522 allows you to easily upgrade any router to support streaming of High-Definition (HD) multimedia content over a wireless connection. Connect up to four Ethernet-enabled devices of your entertainment center to the DAP-1522, such as game consoles, Digital Video Recorders (DVR), and Digital Media Adapters (DMA) simultaneously. You can also upgrade your network to support dual-band wireless streaming by connecting a DAP-1522 to your router.
Duo Technology
Xtreme N Duo is the latest addition to the award-winning Xtreme N product family. The Duo technology in the DAP-1522 supports selectable dual band N (2.4GHz or 5GHz) wireless signals. This allows you to check e-mail and browse the internet using existing 802.11g and popular draft 802.11n products or stream high-definition movies and other media on the 5GHz band. The 5GHz band helps avoid interference by providing a clearer wireless band for HD signals.
