Verbatim's ExpressCard SSD is a hot pluggable, high performance solid state disk drive suitable for use in any 34mm or 54mm ExpressCard slot equipped laptop or notebook computer.

Featuring a true performance PCI express interface and a 4 channel architecture, Verbatim's ExpressCard SSD is capable of reading up to 120MB/Sec and writing up to 30MB/Sec for high performance data storage.

Verbatim's ExpressCard SSD is up to 10 times faster than conventional USB drives and as it is plugged into the laptop constantly, it takes up no extra room and is more secure than a removable hard drive.

The ExpressCard is very simple to use. Simply insert it into the ExpressCard slot and you can use it immediately, no hardware installation required. Verbatim's ExpressCard SSD also comes with Nero BackItUp4 Essentials software* so you can create your own 'back up' settings from your PC/laptop to your ExpressCard.
