The Addonics Slim SATA to IDE Converter is designed for the latest slimline SATA 3.0Gbps interface with new notebook optical drives allowing them to be converted into the commonly used 3.5" IDE connection. Attached easily to the back of the connector, this small converter board is ideal solution for rack mount PCs, blade servers, Mini-ITX systems, or small equipment requiring an optical drive which do not have the slim SATA interface.
