Excellent value

Having bought 2 sets over a 2 month period, I can say that these speakers are fantastic value for money. The construction is top notch. The speaker boxes themselves are sturdily built and will stand up to a fair bit of punishment. It helps that they look quite stylish in a reserved kind of way. Connectivity is good, though I would have liked a headphone out port. No complaints otherwise. The wireless remote control is a fantastic addition. Though I am not an Audiophile, I feel that the sound quality is very good, be it playing audio from the PC, TV or PS3. The system is capable of some ear-shattering noise at its higher levels. Despite this, there is -very- little distortion to be noted. Both bass & higher notes are loud but not muddy. I feel this set compares very well to much higher priced systems available here on TB and in other areas. Naturally, if you wished to truly shake the house with bass a separate sub-woofer would be necessary, but for all reasonable usages, the bass produced by the system is more than sufficient. In all, I give the system a 9/10 & a strong recommendation to buy.
