The RAID Tower IV is built basing on the Storage Tower platform that features a stylish, light weight aluminum chassis in a compact foot print. Depending on the model, up to six 3.5" hard drives can be installed into the RAID Tower IV. The drives can be configured as a RAID set and be connected to the high speed eSATA port or the latest SuperSpeed USB 3.0 port on a computer with a single cable. Each model comes with everything needed for connecting to the computer. All is needed is to add your own hard drives. Tthe hard drive can be configured as RAID or as individual drive via the simple switches on the back of the unit or using the included Windows software utility depending on the model.

Specifications
  • Connect to system via USB 3.0 / 2.0 or eSATA port (connecting cables included).
  • Install up to five 3.5" SATA hard drives of any capacity (drives not included).
  • three drives are installed onto drive tray that can be added or removed like tape cartridge from each drive bay, two drives can be added or removed like tape cartridge from the drive bay with no special tool required.
  • Drives can be configured as FAST (RAID0 Striping), SAFE (RAID1 Mirroring), JBOD* (Just a Bunch Of Disks or individual drive), BIG (combined single volume), SAFE FAST (RAID 1+0 Mirror Stripped).
  • RAID setting via software utility under Windows
  • OS independent, can be used on any system when all drives are configured as a single RAID volume.
  • RAID diagnostic software utility (for Windows only)
