All that's needed is to add the hard drive of your choice to create your own powerful external RAID storage.
 
The RAID TowerXIIIfeaturesthirteen 5.25" drive bays in asturdy sheet metalchassis with stylish acrylic front bezel. Up totwenty3.5" hard drives can be installed into the RAID Tower XIII.Each set of fivedrives inside the RAID Towercan be configured as a RAIDgroup or as five independent drives. The four RAID groups orall twenty drivescan be connected to the computer via four high speed eSATA, fourUSB 3.0 / 2.0 or a single mini SAS connection.The RAID Tower XIII comes equipped with removable drive systems for easy drive additiona or removal. On models thatare equipped with USB 3.0connection,each RAID groupcanbe shared over alocal area network by attaching toan optional Addonics NAS adapter.Each model comes with everything needed for connecting to the computer.Simply add your own hard drives and configure the RAID via either the onboard dip switches or the included Windows software utility and your storage tower is ready to do the work.

TheRT134SDMS supportsconnecting up to twenty 3.5" SATA drives to system viaa single external mini SAS connection. Integrated with fourSnap-In Disk Array back plane, hard driveis added or removedlike tape cartridges from each bay. The created RAID volume can be attached tomini SASport (SFF-8088)on any system. Greatfor a variety of storage applications - external RAID storage, Video storage, Server storage or for adding large number hard drivesto any system.

  • Drives are added or removed like tape cartridge from each drive bay with no special tool
  • Install up totwenty 3.5" SATA hard drives of any capacity (drives not included)
  • 5 drives are connected to each HPM-XA which connects to one of the four SATA ports on theexternal mini SASbridge mounted on the back panel
  • Each set of 5 drives can be configured as RAID0 (Striping), RAID1 (Mirroring), RAID3, RAID5 (Parity), RAID10 (Mirrored Striped), JBOD (Concatenation), Clone Mode (N-Way Mirror) using built-in hardware RAID or set as five individual drives with no RAID
  • OS independent, can be used on any system when all drives are configured as a single RAID volume
  • Individual drive configuration requires connecting to Port Multiplier compatible controller
  • For Windows operating systems, configure RAID using RAID diagnostic software utility
  • For Linux, Mac or other operating systems, configure RAID using onboard dip switches
  • Windows utility - RAID monitoring and email notification
