Overview

Designed as the go-to hands-free light for climbers and campers, skiers and hikers, Black Diamond's Magenta Cosmo LED Headlight gives you a versatile illumination tool with both white and red LEDs, variable outputs from 4 to 90 lumens, and the ability to run on both alkaline and rechargeable batteries. The main white LED offers a wide output range and a long focused throw with a blinking strobe mode, while the two secondary white LEDs, with a max output of 16 lumens, lays a wide beam of light for performing tasks like setting up camp, cooking, or rummaging through a pack. Two red LEDs give you the ability to read, navigate, or work in the dark without affecting night-adjusted vision.

A single pushbutton switch on the top of the impact-resistant plastic housing gives you access to all the LEDs, outputs, and modes - including the dimmer function that allows you to choose the precise output throughout the entire 4-90 lumen range of the main LED, or 4-16 lumens on the secondary white. An integrated colored LED battery status display gives you instant access to the battery charge and a lockout feature prevents accidental activation to ensure maximum battery life. The light runs on three included AAA batteries, and is IPX4-rated to be weather resistant.
