The LaCie 8big Rack aggressively challenges Fibre Channel DAS for
professional 4K video workflows. It offers better speeds and significantly
simpler connections, with none of the complexities associated with an expensive
Fibre Channel setup. The LaCie 8big Rack additionally offers a jaw-dropping 64TB
in a 1U rackmount size, saving valuable space in server cabinets. It also offers
hardware RAID 5/6, optional enterpriseclass hard drives, expansion potential for
a single Mac Pro up to 1.7PB, and breakthroughs in serviceability.
