Addonics Compact 1:1 HDD/SSD Duplicator PRO-S
The Addonics Compact 1:1 HDD/SSD Duplicator PRO-S is one of the most
versatile drive duplicators in the market. This duplicator can be used to copy
practically any SATA or IDE HDD/SSD in 3.5" or 2.5" form factor. The included
Diamond Cipher II enclosure (drive carrier) also enable copying data directly to
or from a hard drive with AES 256-bit hardware encryption. Using Addonics
optional 2.5" flash drive kits, this duplicator can copy a variety of popular
flash media such as M2 SATA SSD, mSATA SSD, CFast card, CF card, Micro SATA
HDD/SSD or slim SATA SSD.
Similar to other members of the Addonics HDD Duplicator family, this PRO S
model is also simple to use and operate. Just load your master hard drive to the
source drive bay and another hard drive of capacity equal or larger than the
source drive to the target drive bay, turn the key lock on each drive bay to the
lock position and push the start button to start the copying process.

- Top bay supports SATA, IDE or Addonics AES 256-bit encrypted drive using
the included Diamond SATA, IDE or Diamond Cipher II drive enclosure
- Bottom bay is a Snap-In drive bay that supports 3.5" SATA HDD or 2.5" SATA
HDD/SSD via a included 2.5" - 3.5" drive adapter. Drive is directly loaded
into the drive bay without any special tool.

The following drive enclosures are included in this duplicator: Diamond SATA
Drive enclosure (DSACSB), Diamond IDE Drive enclosure( DICSB) and Diamond Cipher
II Drive enclosure (DCSA6GCS). These drive enclosure are for loading into the
top bay. With these enclosures, the top bay can use either SATA, IDE or Diamond
Cipher II encrypted drive in 3.5" or 2.5" form factor as a source drive when the
top bay is set as source bay (factory default setting) or as a target drive when
the top bay is set as a target bay.
Optional Diamond IDE ExDrive
To copy from IDE drive to IDE drive, an optional Diamond ExDrive kit (model
DIEDES) is required. Unplug the small eSATA cable from the target port (TP) at
the back. Attach the Diamond IDE ExDrive kit to the target port (TP). The
Diamond ExDrive kit now becomes the target drive. Load the included Diamond IDE
drive enclosure into the top bay as the IDE source. The Diamond ExDrive kit also
add flexibility to copy data directly from or to a Diamond Cipher II encrypted
drive

- SECURE ERASE - HDD duplicator sends a WIPE command to the hard drive. This
command fills 00 string to entire HDD
- OVERWRITE - One pass, 3 passes, and 7 passes 5220.22-M. The duplicator
writes a string of pattern over the entire disk one time, three times or seven
times.5220.22-M is the DoD standard for drive sanitization

* This Duplicator PRO-S comes with all necessary drive enclosures to copy
data from a hard drive with no encryption to another hard drive with AES 256-bit
encryption to secure your data. To do so all is needed is to install a standard
hard drive in the source bay (the bottom bay set as source) and a target drive
into the Diamond Cipher II enclosure (top bay set as the target). The data
copied into the drive inside the Diamond Cipher II enclosure will automatically
be encrypted. Please note that all the information encrypted with the Diamond
Cipher can only be accessible with Diamond Cipher enclosure or the Addonics
Cipher Chain. To understand the detail on how to encrypt the hard drive with a
Diamond Cipher II drive kit or Cipher Chain II, please visit the Diamond Cipher
II and Cipher Chain II web pages.
Please note that if the AES 256-bit Diamond Cipher II enclosure is used as a
source, the hard drive inside must already be an encrypted hard drive prepared
with the Diamond Cipher II enclosure, putting a regular hard drive inside the
Diamond Cipher II enclosure to use as a source will result in copying a blank
drive.
