M2S25HFD5H | Addonics 1;5 M2 / mSATA / 2.5" HDD/SSD Duplicator

The Addonics family of Combo M2 and mSATA HDD duplicator is designed for making multiple copies of M2 SATA SSD, mSATA SSD or 2.5" SATA HDD/SSD from a single master drive. Each duplicator comes bundled with a set of 2,5" M2/mSATA flash drive kit that turns a M2 SATA SSD or mSATA SSD into a 2.5" SATA SSD.You can mix and match the M2, mSATA SSD and the hard drive into the duplicator, thus making it a handy tool for transferring the content between the M2 SATA SSD, mSATA SSD and 2.5" HDD/SSD.There is no computer needed or complex software to operate. Just open the doors on the drive bays, load the master media into the source bay and the target media of capacity equal or larger into the target bays, lock the drive doors and push the start button to start the copying process.

About this model

The 1:5 M2, mSATA, 2,5" HDD/SSD duplicators allow you to copy from one source media onto as many as five (5) target media at one time. Source and target media can be of either M2 SATA SSD, mSATA or mini mSATA SSD or 2.5" SATA HDD/SSD.Designed with snap-In drive bay, drives are easily added or removed without any special tool, just like an ordinary cassette tape.By adding other optional2.5" flash drive adapters, the supported media can be expanded to include CFast card, CF card, slim SATA SSD and 1.8" (micro SATA) HDD/SSD.

The following Addonics optional 2.5" flash drive kit can be used for duplicating CFast , CF card, slim SATA SSD or 1.8" drive.

• Drive sanitization:
  • SECURE ERASE - HDD duplicator sends a WIPE command to the hard drive. This command fills 00 string to entire HDD (this feature may not be supported by some mSATA SSD or flash media)
  • OVERWRITE - One pass, 3 passes and 7 passes 5220.22-M. The duplicator writes a string of pattern over the entire disk one time, three times or seven times. 5220.22-M is the DoD standard for drive sanitization

1  There are three types of M2 SSD: M2 SATA SSD, M2 PCIe SSD and M2 NVMe SSD. M2 SATA SSD uses SATA interface, the same interface on SATA hard drive, and is the only type of M2 media supported by this duplicator.
