Overview
About
Vigor2926 LTE Series is a Dual-WAN Security Router with built-in 3G/4G/LTE
modem. There are two Gigabit Ethernet WAN for all kinds of Internet access, and
a SIM card slot which allows adding cellular connectivity by simply inserting a
SIM card. There is also a USB port for additional 3G/4G/LTE modem. Up to 4
Internet access can be active simultaneously. Vigor2926 LTE Series provides not
only high network availability, but also the comprehensive firewall and content
security management (CSM) features to protect the local network, and it can be a
VPN gateway for up to 50 simultaneous VPN connections, to allow secure
connections over the Internet.
Connectivity & Mobility
Vigor2926 LTE Series has built-in an LTE modem which covers abundant
frequency bands and can work with worldwide cellular networks, with just a SIM
card, Vigor2926 LTE Series can connect to the Internet and provide Internet
connectivity anywhere. It is an ideal Internet gateway for vehicles, temporary
events, and open area where fixed internet lines are not available.
The Vigor2926 LTE Series comes with Wi-Fi built-in models, Vigor2926 Ln,
which has 802.11n 2.4G Wi-Fi built-in, and supports data rate up to 300 Mbps;
and Vigor2926Lac, which has dual-band Wi-Fi built-in and is compliant with the
latest 802.11ac Wave 2 standard, delivers data rate up to 1.7 Gbps.
Secure Business Network
Vigor2926 LTE Series has implemented Stateful Packet Inspection (SPI)
Firewall, flexible filtering rules can be set up to accept or deny packets based
on source IP, destination IP, protocol, port number, or even the packet's
contents. Content Filtering by URL keyword or application can protect LAN
clients from insecure websites and also prevent time and network resource
wasting on inappropriate network activities.
With an annual subscription to CYREN Web Content Filtering service, you may
set up restrictions to block the whole categories of websites (such as Social
Networking, Gambling.. etc.) without the need to specify every site you would
like to block. The CYREN service is constantly updating the categorization, and
a free 30-day trial is included in each new router.
Vigor2926 LTE Series is also a robust VPN server, it allows up to 50
concurrent LAN-to-LAN or Host-to-LAN VPN tunnels, which is perfect for
teleworkers and a company with multiple branches. Vigor2926 LTE Series is
compliant with all common industry standard protocols, and therefore it is
compatible with third party VPN devices as well.
Central Management
Vigor2926 LTE Series can act as a Central Management portal for the other
Vigor devices on the network, including VigorAPs, Vigor Switchs, and even Vigor
Routers. With Central Management feature, device maintenance (such as firmware
upgrading, configuration backup and restore) and monitoring can all be done from
a single portal, which is the Web User Interface of Vigor2926 LTE Series
Vigor2926 LTE Series can manage up to 20 VigorAP on its LAN and work as an AP
controller. Automatic Provisioning can be triggered when a VigorAP newly join
the network and this makes AP deployment much faster. You may also get the
client or traffic history of all the APs from Vigor2926 LTE Series, and set up
load balancing rules for the APs.
Central Switch Management allows you to manage up to 10 Vigor Switches from
Vigor2926 LTE Series, the status of each port can be directly viewed from the
router. Vigor2926 LTE Series also supports VLAN configuration for the switches,
setting that matches the router's VLAN settings and the switch hierarchy is
automatically provided, and makes the VLAN configuration much easier.
