mSATA to SATA Adapter
Connects the SATA HDD to NUC board.
Security
Security is a constant need for computer systems. Whether it is as simple as
keeping prying hands from getting inside the system to preventing theft the
ULTRATOP® products were designed to provide a security solution.
Pad lock security:The ULTRATOP® products support a pad lock to secure the
outer cover in place and prevent access to the inside of the system. The pad
lock security can also be used with the optional security mounting plate to
provide theft prevention for the whole system.
The ULTRATOP® products also provide support for the Kensington lock systems.
AC Adapters
The ULTRATOP® products are powered by 19VDC external AC adapters. Available
in 65 Watt capacities the AC Adapters feature changeable power tips to support
motherboards with different DC power connections. Both adapters are ErP Lot 6
compliant and support 100-240V AC input.
Rear Panel Openings
The K3 has 2 DB-9 rear panel openings for Internal USB - serial converter.

The K3-I/O utilizes USB to I/O bridge technology to allow support for the
following modules:
- Quad RS232 Serial Ports
- Dual 10/100/1000 Ethernet Ports
- Six USB 2.0 Ports - Two Serial & One Parallel Ports
- Custom modules available on request
Built-in Cabling
The ULTRATOP® products feature built-in peripheral cabling. This allows for
quick assembly or servicing.
Top USB
The ULTRATOP® products feature front panel USB connections that are easy to
access when connecting up a USB device. The K3 supports one top USB 2.0
connections.
The K3-Haswell Version supports one top USB 3.0 and also have a HD Audio
connections for a microphone input and a headphone output.
Monitor Mounting Bracket
Supports VESA (75 or 100mm) monitor mounting bracket.
Desktop/wall security mounting plate prevents theft/tampering.
