Overview
FEEL EVERY BATTLE
Introducing the Razer Nari Ultimate, featuring Razer HyperSense — a wireless
PC gaming headset equipped with intelligent haptic technology developed by
Lofeltâ„¢ that converts sound signals into dynamic touch-sensory feedback in real
time. Haptics in gamepads today provide simple feedback and rumbling during key
in-game events. With Razer HyperSense, the Razer Nari Ultimate picks up the
shape and frequencies of game audio and transforms them into rich, lifelike
haptic effects. Vibrations flow accurately from left to right, and with
different intensities, depending on where the audio cues are coming from in the
game. Gamers will now have heightened awareness of their in-game surroundings.
RAZER HYPERSENSE
We’re raising the bar when it comes to immersion by letting you feel the
impact of battle. The Razer Nari Ultimate is powered by Razer HyperSense –
featuring haptic technology that creates touch-sensory feedback for lifelike
sensations based on audio cues from the game. Now you can sense planes roaring
overhead or recoil from the bursts of gunfire, creating a whole new layer of
immersion for the ultimate gaming experience.
THE NEXT LEVEL OF GAMING IMMERSION
Throughout gaming history, visual and audio technologies have evolved to
deeply engage our senses of sight and hearing, creating lifelike experiences in
games. But what if we could engage another one of our senses to further enhance
the parallel between gaming and real life? Razer HyperSense now lets you feel
the action in games as we enter a new frontier in gaming immersion.
NEXT-GENERATION HAPTIC DRIVERS
Razer HyperSense features advanced signal processing and state-of-the-art L5
haptic drivers developed by Lofeltâ„¢ to turn sound into high-resolution
vibrotactile signals that accurately mimic actions from the game in real time
STAY IMMERSED ON ANY DEVICE
With a 3.5 mm audio jack, you can plug in the Razer Nari Ultimate to other
devices such as your mobile phone or console, and enjoy the same immersive
experience. No third-party application or pre-programming is needed to activate
Razer HyperSense. This means you get to feel advanced haptics on any device,
whether you’re gaming, listening to music, or watching a movie.
THX SPATIAL AUDIO
THX Spatial Audio goes beyond traditional surround sound by simulating sound
in a 360° sphere around you. With the Razer Nari Ultimate, you can now react to
any in-game movement, even if it’s coming from above or beneath you, giving you
heightened senses during your game. Unleash your predatory instincts with sound
as a weapon.
LIFELIKE SOUND WITH THX SPATIAL AUDIO
What separates good sound from phenomenal audio is the ability to transport
you right where the action is. Whether it’s knowing where every cackle of
gunfire is coming from or embracing an authentic sense of presence when you’re
standing in the center of a battle arena, THX Spatial Audio can bring all your
sound sources to life.
DEVELOPED FOR ALL YOUR AUDIO NEEDS
THX Spatial Audio is optimized for popular and emerging sound modes to suit a
variety of games.
Stereo (2.0)
A basic stereo system (2.0) consists of two speakers—left and right—and
typically produces native sound without any processing. An all-rounded option
that suits all game genres.
Surround Sound (5.1 / 7.1)
Surround Sound takes 5.1 or 7.1 content and uses head-related transfer
function to create virtual speakers around you. You'll feel as though you have
multiple speakers strategically placed around you, delivering positionally
accurate audio that's typically needed in FPS gameplay. This is also ideal for
movies and other video content for superior immersion.
Spatial Sound (Object and Scene-based audio)
Imagine hearing passing gunfire during a game. If you're using conventional
stereo speakers, you'll hear the shots move from the right speaker to the left
speaker. Spatial sound virtualizes these sounds in a panoramic motion by using
integrated object and scene-based audio to create an audio sphere all around you
as though you're on multiple speaker channels—except there's no use of
"channels". Instead, the technology captures sound's relative position to convey
lifelike realism that goes beyond specific positional points. It's 360°
immersion so lifelike that you'll duck when you hear gunshots coming at you from
every angle, even above and below you.
READY FOR TOMORROW, TODAY
THX Spatial Audio continually expands its capabilities with the addition of
new features, placing users at the forefront of audio technology.
Object and Scene-based Audio Support
While channel-based audio is recorded with predetermined listening devices in
mind such as a 5.1 or 7.1 set up, object and scene-based audio sources are
encoded through placement in 3D space, independent of speaker location for
playback. This allows for an incredibly accurate and immersive experience.
HRTF – Head Related Transfer Function
HRTF refers to how our ears receives sound from a point in space. THX uses
years of audio research to create HRTFs optimized for spatial audio processing
so you get the best headphone audio experience. Configure each channel
individually by increasing or decreasing volume.
Z-Axis Sound
Go beyond the flat sound of a horizontal plane and surround sound. With
object and scene-based audio, the height dimension is audible – the way it is in
real life. Now you can hear planes soaring above you or the sound of your
footsteps below.
Communication Enhancement
THX Spatial Audio also improves microphone and voice processing features that
allow greater control and clarity during team communication.
