The SR4-SB3+ is an all in one hardware RAID solution that embeds the JMB394 RAID controller chipset that require no extra parts. Its cost effective because no separate RAID controller is required with everything built into the system.

The SOHORAID SR4-SB3+ is a four drive storage system with JBOD / RAID 5 / RAID 0 storage option for storing contents in large scales. Industrially designed with aluminum exterior thats built tough and durable for hard drive protection of the highest grade.

Stardom SR4 enables you to reliably and efficiently back up your documents, family photos, event movies, downloaded files, or other digital assets. If a hard drive happens to fail, simply swap out the defective drive and replace with a new one. You can keep working on your projects and SR4 will automatically rebuild the data in the background.

Two connectivity for Mac & PC

With high-speed 3G e-SATA and USB 3.1 Gen 1 two connectivity, the SR4-SB3+ can be used in both Mac &C environments providing great convenience and flexibility.

USB 3.1 Gen 1 supports plug &lay and is compatible with USB 3.1 Gen 1 for Mac or PC.

Big storage volume for your creative contents

SR4-SB3+ holds any capacity of SATA hard drives up to 10TB or more per drive bay. With all drive bays installing 10TB or more drives, in RAID 0 mode, the system will give you a total of 40TB or more in volume for storage, and under the RAID 5 mode, a total of 30TB or more in volume for storage with a single drive used for redundancy.

RAID 5 for data safety &AID 0 for high-speed performance

SR4-SB3+ provides two storage options of RAID 5 or RAID 0. With RAID 5, a user will have the maximum protection of his/her data with allowance for a single drive failure but yet all data will be kept intact. In the RAID 0 mode, a user will have the benefit of a single massive volume for storage with high I/O speed, with sets of data being striped across the four enclosed drives.

SR4-SB3+ to support both of 3.5" HDD and 2.5" HDD &SD products

SR4-SB3+'s 4-bay chassis provides you an up to 40TB storage capacity and supports any kind of storage disk platforms, both of 3.5" and 2.5" SATA/SSD HDD products. It's strong aluminum extrusion chassis provides you an excellent protection at your 4 storage disks which you could fully rely on it for your daily heavy-duty works.

User-friendly display

Equipped with clear readable LCD display and LED indicators for system monitoring during operation so users can easily grasp the status of the system at all times. Moreover, it comes with visual and audio alarms whenever failure occurs.

Tough and durable shielding body

The SR4-SB3+ beats any compact four drive systems with its seamless, a thick full aluminum built body thats robust to withstand the most demanding of use. With aluminum body, the system dissipates heat faster for a greater stability and performance that also extends the lives of the drives.

SMART cooling and the buzzeradjustmentfunction

SR4-SB3+ is also designed with the MCU feature which monitors and helps improving its in-chassis system temperature. While the system temperature rises up to 50 degree-C (122 degree-F), MCU will bump up the fans with full speed; and once system temperature goes up to 55 degree-C (131 degree-F), the buzzer will alert. And you could manually adjust fan switch on the rear, MCU would reduce the fan speed down to SMART speed for a better green user environment from a less fan noise and lower power consumption.

In addition, if the fan fails or the device temperature is too high, the buzzer will beep and let the user know that the device has failed. The user can turn off or turn on the buzzer through the mute adjustment switch on the back panel.

Compatible with Time Machine

SR4 is also compatible with Apples Time machine to backup your critical system files, applications, data files, music, pictures, videos and more.

Use S2F product extends All Your Storage Products

SR4-SB3+ and S2F combination eSATA and FireWire 800 interface extends your storage,From your only Firewire Mac to connect to Non-FireWire device, S2F provides you a great flexibility to choose a good storage product from STARDOM. And also, S2F could not only connect to one Non-FireWire STARDOM storage product but one more storage thru a second FireWire 800 port.
