With this converter, common low cost ATAPI devices such as DVD-R/RW, CDRW, DVD, CD-ROM, ZIP or MO drives immediately become SCSI devices. There is no driver to install and the converter works practically with any OS. Supporting Ultra LVD80 SCSI standard, the ATAPI to SCSI converter aslo ensures maximum performance of the fastest ATAPI drive while minimizing any impact on the performance of other devices in the SCSI chain.
