One of the key features of the HC3900 home theatre projector isits state-of-the-artDLP chip, which incorporates a new digital micromirror device(DMD) comprised of denselyembedded micromirrors. A smaller mirror cavity diameter and narrowergaps between mirrors improves the aperture ratioof the chip for a smoother image. Reflective light diffusion is also greatly reduced, which translates to a higher contrast ratio for better overall blacks, whites and colour reproduction.
