Installation
 
Intel Installation
Step 1 Step 2
Before installing the CPU cooler onto your motherboard, you need to remove the side fans from the main body. On the picture you can see the correct pressure directions you need to apply against the retention tips. First remove the protective tape from the cooler bottom, and then use a screwdriver to attach the spring-screws to the cooler bottom.
Step 3 Step 4
Now use the Thermaltake universal backplate and install it onto the backside of your motherboard. In the next step install the black plastic nuts from the front of the motherboard onto the screws of the backplate.
Step 5 Step 6
Now fix the AMD processor retention module onto the black nuts and install the metal nuts on top of the screws to fix the retention module. Its time to apply the bundled thermal paste.
Step 7 Step 8
To fix the CPU cooler to the motherboard use a screw driver and install the spring screwstightly. Install the exhaust fan (with convex blades, refer to the picture) on the side opposite to the arrow on the top of the CPU cooler.
Step 9 Step 10
Your installed exhaust fan should fit like on this picture. Install the inhale fan (with concave blades, refer to the picture) on the side to direction of the arrow on top of the CPU cooler.
Step 11 Step 12
Your installed inhale fan should fit like on this picture. In the final step plug the fans power cords into the corresponding power connectors on the motherboard.

AMD Installation

Step 1 Step 2
Before installing the CPU cooler onto your motherboard, you need to remove the side fans from the main body. On the picture you can see the correct pressure directions you need to apply against the retention tips First remove the protective tape from the cooler bottom, and then use a screwdriver to attach the spring-screws to the cooler bottom.
Step 3 Step 4
Again use a screwdriver in order to remove the pre-installed retention module and backplate from the motherboard. Now use the Thermaltake universal backplate and install it onto the backside of your motherboard.
Step 5 Step 6
In the next step install the black plastic nuts from the front of the motherboard onto the screws of the backplate. Now fix the AMD processor retention module onto the black nuts. Then, install the metal nuts on top of the screws to fix the retention module.
Step 7 Step 8
Its time to apply the bundled thermal paste on the surface of CPU. Then, fix the CPU cooler to the motherboard use a screw driver and install the spring screws tightly. Install the exhaust fan (with convex blades, refer to the picture) on the side opposite to the arrow on the top of the CPU cooler.
Step 9 Step 10
Your installed exhaust fan should fit like on this picture. Install the inhale fan (with concave blades, refer to the picture) on the side to direction of the arrow on top of the CPU cooler.
