The Avision AV176+ is designed for desktop use in any office where scanning plastic ID cards, business cards, documents or other heavy card stock is necessary. Despite its small size, the AV176+ offers high-speed scanning at rates up to 20 ppm in simplex and 40 ipm in duplex mode.
The Avision AV176+ boasts a unique and stylish design as both the input and output paper tray can be folded when not in use. The paper tray also helps to protect the unit from dust. Unlike bulky conventional scanners, the slim AV176+ can be easily carried and fit on a desk without taking up a lot of space.
A convenient, programmable button feature allows users to pre-set nine customized functions for different scanning needs. For example, you can create file formats such as PDF, TIFF, JPEG, GIF, and BMP, scan to e-mail, or file documents by simply pressing a button.

The AV176 is a 20 page-per-minute, duplex sheetfed scanner that is fast, reliable, and affordable for business where scanning plastic ID cards, business cards, documents or other heavy card stock is necessary. With the straight paper path, the scanner allows thicker paper up to 120 g/m2 (32 lbs) and embossed plastic cards such as credit cards, or drivers license up to 0.8mm to be transmitted smoothly. Ultrasonic multi-feed detection assures you that not a single page of your documents will be lost.
High optical resolution of 1200 dpi
With a high optical resolution of 1200 dpi and advanced image processing technology, you can be assured documents can be converted in the highest image quality. In addition, with the build-in CIS (Contact Image Sensor) module, the AV176+ does not require any warm-up time.
AV176+saves your space when not in use
Both the input and output paper tray of the AV176+ can be folded when not in use. This feature not only helps prevent the unit from dust but also save more working space.
Powerful bundled software applications
The AV176+ comes with TWAIN and ISIS drivers, and is bundled with a suite of powerful software applications that include Avision Button Manager, AvScan 5.0, and ScanSoft PaperPort 11SE. With Button Manager, you can create searchable PDFs, scan and send images to e-mail, printer, or other destinations with just a simple press of a button. The AVScan V5 and ScanSoft PaperPort are highly effective image processing and document management software that helps you streamline your task more efficiently.
