ASUS PIKE 2108 can be backward compatible with existing 1.5Gb/s SATA and 3Gb/s SAS/SATA products and infrastructure and allows you to create RAID 0, RAID 1, RAID 10, RAID5, RAID 50, RAID6 and RAID 60. Just placing the PIKE card can immediately enlarge the capacity, improve the performance, and strengthen the signaling, making it the great upgrade option.

2. ASUS PIKE interface 2: 8-port SAS signal with SGPIO interface*
The SGPIO interface is used for visibility into drive activity, failure and rebuilds status, so users could build high-performance yet reliable storage systems. Please refer to the motherboard manual guide for detailed information about using the SGPIO connectors on the motherboard.
1. SAS RAID card status LED (lights up and blinks to indicate that the card is working normally)
2. BBU cable connector
- Optional PIKE 2108 (8-port SAS II) are available for SAS RAID support
