With a versatile 25mm ultra-wide angle lens, boasting a powerful 10x optical zoom*, the DMC-SZ1 is able to offer exceptional optical performance. Intelligent Zoom even extends the 10x optical zoom to 20x digital equivalent, incorporating our Intelligent Resolution technology to maintain picture quality. The Leica DC Vario-Elmar lens system is comprised of nine elements in seven groups, including four aspherical lenses with six aspherical surfaces. This slim, compact lens unit offers a great zoom range from ultra-wide to telephoto and ensures stunning clarity with minimum distortion or flare.
