The 8Ware Heli-Dock lets you expand far beyond those limitations by installing a 2.5" HDD or SSD drive then wirelessly connecting to it for watching movies, listening to music, viewing photos and more!
The Heli-Shell from 8Ware works as a standalone wireless device that requires no other network connection.
It contains no storage as standard, but comes ready for you to install a standard 2.5" drive for huge expansion. You can now add a wireless external drive with all of your movies, music, photos and more – and do it all without the pain of iTunes!
The Heli-Shell requires no Internet connection (once App is installed), and is as simple as launching the 8Ware Heli app*, plugging in your storage and connecting wirelessly to the Heli-Dock.
Leave it in your bag on the train; take it in the car on a roadtrip; entertain the whole family! Up to 5 users can simultaneously stream from the Heli-Dock in full HD so the kids can watch what they want, while the adults do the same.
The 8Ware-Heli app is available for iOS and Android devices via the Apple App Store and Google Play.
Simply search for "8ware" and install the 8ware Heli app.
Internet connection required for the initial download of 8Ware app only, thereafter the app runs offline.
