Good card bad cd
Had massive crashes trying to start the soundcard in xp. Apparently the drivers on teh CD are death for XP. Downloaded XP specific drivers off the net and it works like a dream. so cheap and so much sound.

some weird issues
A very good card for its price and a must for the optical output. When I installed it i was having a hard time getting through to the desktop for more than 15 seconds without a crash. From what I worked out the soundcard was crashing the computer at startup. I had already disabled onboard sound and only after I removed everything related to a soundcard in the device manager and then just reinstalled the drivers its been working fine. The sound is great and onece its all together its a solid card.
