Sony’s powerful 4K* picture processing technology upscales every pixel, so
you can enjoy all your favourite TV broadcasts and movies in 4K. To optimally
sharpen every image you see, a database of image elements is consulted, and the
most ideal elements matched to each scene. Different types of noise from movie
and TV broadcast formats are also clearly removed.

Brilliant, True-to-life Colour
A conventional TV attempts to optimise and enhance the colour of the full
picture, but while some colours can be enhanced to their optimum level, others
are not. The 4K* Processor X1's Precision Colour Mapping feature enhances and
optimises colours individually on top of what is done through conventional
colour enhancement in real time. It maximises performance of the TV display to
perfectly represent every colour for rich, natural picture.
