The Cooler Master Cosmos really impressed me, not only does it have great looks but it also has lots of features that make it a joy to use. If you don't mind the heavy weight and the high price I definitely recommend it, this is one of the best cases I've ever seen.
The CoolerMaster Cosmos isn't available yet but it will arrive in retail stores all over the world in the next few weeks. The case will be introduced in Japan and Hong Kong on August 1st, in most European countries it will become available on August 11 or August 18 and the U.S. launch will take place on September 1st. Australians will have to wait until September 7. |

Verdict:
The Cooler Master COSMOS is by far the nicest looking case I have seen in a long time. The sound deadening materials inside actually work, there is a noticeable drop in noise levels in my office after changing to the COSMOS. Cooler Master simply went all out on the COSMOS so if you are looking for a attractive case that is both quite and cool, look no further.

Conclusion
After looking at the Cooler Master Cosmos and building a system with it I am just as impressed as I was at Computex. The case is solid; I could stand on it without breaking anything except for maybe the plastic on top. There is not a millimeter of play or movement from the case when wiggled and most importantly nothing seems to rattle when it is shaken.
The handles on the top make it feel less heavy than it actually is. With a shipping weight of 18 kg, almost 40 pounds this is important. The metal rails on the bottom also make the Cosmos very easy to slide on carpet unlike many of the cases that I have owned....

Mit dem Cosmos 1000 Gehuse ist es Cooler Master wieder gelungen, ein hervorragenden High-End Tower auf den Markt zu bringen. Neben den Silent Mglichkeiten, der durchdachten Belftung, Kabelkanal und ausgesprochen gute Verriegelung sowie Befestigungs- Mglichkeiten, glnzt er in der edlen Optik und seiner hervorragenden Verarbeitung. Nur schade, dass mit den gebotenen Features, der gerade noch gute Preis von knapp 210,00 Euro bei Caseking mit der fehlenden HDD Belftung etwas getrbt wird. Dies hier nur optional anzubieten, passt hier einfach nicht. Alles in allem erhlt der Cooler Master Cosmos 1000 die uneingeschrnkte Kaufempfehlung der Technic3D Redaktion!

Der er intet premod at finde overhovedet s der er masser af potentiale i det store kabinet. Leveres med den perfekte lsning rent klingsmssigt og harddisk boksene er en fed detalje. Generelt et kabinet hvor CoolerMaster virkelig har tnkt over detaljerne og mulighederne er perfekte til prisen. |

Conclusion:
We are very impressed with the Cooler Master Cosmos 1000 case. There are a few minor annoyances, but the top-notch build quality, smooth soundproofing, hassle free tool-less design outweigh any of those. Moreover, it is a very nice addition to the room as well. It's a sure head turner when friends are over. And of course, it lives up to its slogan Performance Meets Silence. Cooler Master has done another great job on their new performance chassis. If this Cosmos is to start a new line to succeed the Stacker, then it will not only replace the Stacker but improve upon it as well. The case is also very stylish and easy to handle for being such a large ATX/EATX case and there is quite a bit of room for expansion. On the opposite side of the microscope, two of the areas to improve upon include the right side panel not having much room for cable management and the hard drive cooling is rather limited.

Conclusion
Ces quelques jours avec le Cooler Master Cosmos nous ont permis dapprcier ses grandes qualits. Ses lignes sont superbes, sa finition est exemplaire, sa taille le rend la fois parfaitement adapt aux configurations les plus exigeantes et trs facile monter. Cette facilit est renforce par les systmes douverture des panneaux latraux, de fixation des lecteurs optiques, ou encore lomniprsence de vis main. De plus sa conception est pousse, et il prsente un trs bon potentiel pour qui se donne la peine de chercher la meilleure configuration possible pour son refroidissement....

Slutsats
Cooler Master Cosmos r ett chassi utan kompromisser. Detaljerna har frfinats till perfektion och detaljarbetet r monumentalt vl utfrt. Den borstade aluminiumytan ger ett mycket exklusivt intryck och materialvalet mjliggr en stabil konstruktion som inte gr av fr hackor. De verktygsfria sidopltarna r vl fsta och isolerade, bde nr det gller vibrationsdmpning och ljudisolering i form av skumplast. Dessutom str hela ldan vldigt stabilt trots att den egentligen vilar p tv aluminiumrr.
Insidan av chassiet r mycket vlorganiserad. Ntaggregatet drar luft frn utsidan av ldan och r sledes helt isolerat frn den varma luften inuti chassiet. Hrddiskar monteras i mycket smidiga kassetter som gr det enkelt att bde montera hrddiskar och att plocka ur dem. Strre enheter ssom dvd-brnnare monteras med hjlp av verktygsfria fsten som r otroligt enkla att anvnda. Tillverkaren har till och med gtt s lngt i skandet efter anvndarvnlighet att de inkluderar en mall som visar var distanserna till olika moderkortsstandarder ska sitta. En otroligt vl utfrd design med andra ord.

Conclusion, Pros and Cons
Wed like to thank CoolerMaster for providing the Cosmos for our review today. Overall, using the Cosmos was a great experience, but there were a few items that need to be addressed.
One of the main things we had difficulties with was its size and weight. After installing our hardware into the system, the Cosmos was almost too heavy to lift. A PC case this heavy should have come on rollers or something. Using steel and aluminum together could have reduced the Cosmos overall weight by quite a bit. The size of the Cosmos is also a concern because it barely fit underneath our desk, but if users need a server case, this one should definitely be on the top of their list. .....
