Two Socket LGA771 are ready for the latest industrial leading Intel Xeon Processor 5000/5100/5300/5400 Sequence with immediate performance scale up and fast processing speed. 12 DIMM slots support Quad channel DDR2 533/667 FBD up to 48GB, which provides larger memory bandwidth than before. To offer a working environment with effective thermal solution, both processors and DIMM slots are located at the board side, with the latter paralleling to the airflow.

Reliable Redundant Power Solution with Versatile I/O, Expansion Capability
TS700-E4/RX8 offers wide coverage on expansion slots: 2 PCI-X 133/100 MHz (one support ZCR RAID card), 2 PCI-E x 8 slots, 1 PCI-E x 16 (x8 link) and an extra SODIMM Socket for optional ASUS ASMB3 remote management board; 8 * 3.5" bays support both SAS and SATAII HDDs for customers various demands; Intel 82563EB Network Connection (Dual-Port) provides load-balance and fault tolerance features, enabling smooth and reliable network transfer.

Mass Storage & Cost-effective RAID Solution for Enterprise Customer
TS700-E4/RX8 has 8 HDD bays and support up to 8 hot-swap SAS or SATAII HDDs, and the hot-swap design effectively helps reduce the downtime caused by possible HDD errors. For better data protection, the server has built in LSI 1068 PCI-X SAS controller to support RAID 0, 1, 1E and hardware RAID 5 via optional ZCR RAID card.
