The ViewSonic VMP Series supports popular audio and video file format, such as MPEG 1/2/4, MJPEG, H.264, WMA, MP3, MP2, AAC, M4A, AC3, JPG, JPEG, BMP and PNG, not to mention the hottest RM, RMVB, Divx and Xvid videos theres no format compatibility problem to worry about.
The new HDMI interfaces built into the ViewSonic VMPs allows you to enjoy the best video, photo and sound quality. Even if your older TV doesnt have a HDMI connector, you can use the YPbPr interface from the VMP50 and still benefit from an exceptional multimedia experience.
The ViewSonic VMP30/50 Series support SRT and SSA close caption features (subtitles) for when you watch movies not in your native language (subject to movie contents).
The VMP30 features a memory card slot compatible with SD/SDHC/MMC and MS/MS Pro formats. Just insert a memory card from your smart phone, digital camera or video camera, and playback the audio or video files using the simple VMP On-Screen Display menu to your home entertainment system. Better yet, the VMPs are also capable of reading and playing AV files stored on external USB devices.
